We have a few more spots lefts in our November SUP Yoga & Fitness teacher training here in San Diego, and the line up for 2016 is looking good too – with certifications and workshops in Hawaii, San Diego, Spain, Switzerland, Canada, and the Massachusetts! This January we are heading down to Sayulita, Mexico for a fun filled adventure of SUP surfing, SUP fitness, and SUP Yoga. We will explore eco-reserve islands by SUP, freedive, do some jungle hikes, go on boat trips to uncrowded waves, eat lots of organic food, and much more! Want to practice Gentle Wave at home? Our video is now available on iTunes! Filmed in Tulum, Mexico, this SUP Yoga video features Gillian and Fatima on an adventure flowing in Cenotes & Lagoons. Besides SUP Yoga, the video has beautiful imagery of underwater yoga, free diving, and paddling among Mayan ruins. Soon to be available on DVD just in time for Christmas – please let us know if you are interested in one! Enjoy the change in seasons, and we hope to see you on the water either this winter down in Mexico, or next year in a certification!

 E-RYT 500, WPA Level 1, founder and instructor of Lotus SUP, is a graduate and senior teacher of The Hard & The Soft Yoga Institute and has been teaching for over 15 years.  Christine has found healing (of physical pain, discomfort, injuries, anxiety, depression and fatigue) and joy in living present through the daily practice of yoga. In 2006 she learned to surf and fell in love.  SUP Yoga, combing her love of asana and being out on the water was an natural evolution.  Christine began practicing Sridaiva in 2013 and has found the Bow-Spring alignment used in this method, to be a super-charged form of healing and vitality that can be applied to all activities.  SUP and Bow-Spring go hand in hand for balance, endurance, efficiency, and injury prevention.  Christine’s teaching empowers each student to realize their own inner strength on and off the water.  She shares her love of the practice of yoga with others, to inspire them to practice yoga all of the time and everywhere.  Christine and her husband had their first child (a son) in January 2012.
