Lavender Rose Green Tea Recipe
Homemade loose leaf recipe makes 2-3 cups of tea.

This is a great tea to sip on when you are feeling stressed and want to relax or simply wind down before bed. Lavender can help headaches depression and insomnia. Decaf green tea is high in antioxidants, which has the potential to help with anything from the common cold to cancer. Rose petals contain vitamin C and carotene, so you can feel healthy happy and relaxed after a cup of this tea!

You can find lavender and rose petals at any health food store that carries loose herbs for teas and tinctures.

You will need to buy…

  • Loose organic red rose petals, 10 ounces or less.
  • Loose organic Lavender, 10 ounces or less.
  • Decaf Green Tea, Yogi Tea makes a great decaf green tea

To Make…

  • Pack a full tea bag of lavender
  • Pack a full tea bag of rose petals

  • Boil 3 cups of water in a small pot. Once the water has boiled turn off the heat.

  •  Add one tea bag of decaf green tea to the pot, the lavender and rose tea bag. Let the tea simmer for 2 minutes then add 2 tablespoons of honey. Stir. Remove tea bags and pour.
