This month’s PIF Master Trainer Instructor Spotlight is on Sara Washburn.

Hey! Sara here. I’m a mother of two, wife to my adventure buddy and love of my life, yogi and adventure enthusiast!

When I became a mom over 12 years ago, I made a decision that I wouldn’t lose myself, that I would continue to live life with enthusiasm and wonder, and share that with my kids. I also made the decision that my fitness and well being would be equally as important to enable me to be the best mom and wife I could be.

There are days that I struggle with the balance of all this and being a business owner BUT, the work is worth it! To follow passions, chasing dreams, working hard teaches out kids so much as they are my biggest support group! When I first stood on a paddle board about eight years ago, I was instantly in love … (like a teenager with a first crush kinda love) I knew this was something that would be a part of my life, but I had no idea what I was doing!

So I learned, I practiced and I wanted to share this with others which is what lead me to Paddle Into Fitness nearly 3 years ago. I wanted to share the passion of paddle boarding, how to have safe adventures and encourage people to get out of their comfort zones with big friggin smiles on their faces!

That fact that I’ve been a yoga teacher for the last 9 years it was a seamless transition that I would take my practice and teaching of yoga on the water too! Guiding SUP, SUP yoga classes and dry land yoga classes keeps this momma busy through the summer but like I mentioned, all the work is worth it! I’m outside (which is my absolute favorite), sharing my passion and knowledge, teaching and inspiring, not just my clients but my family too!

Hope to see you out in the water soon, until then Paddle On! ✌?
